Movie Plot: A romantic police captain breaks a beautiful member of a rebel group out of prison to help her rejoin her fellows, but things are not what they seem. In Ed 859, as the fall of the Tang Dynasty, several rebel groups were established, the largest of which is housing flying daggers, located in Fengtian, fighting a corrupt government that victimises people. Its members use particularly throwing daggers that always kill their goal to steal from the rich and deliver to the poor, gaining the support of locals. Two police officers, Leo (Andy Lau) and Jin (Takeshi Kanshiro) – who are best friends – are ordered to kill the group’s leader within ten days, a task that seems impossible because no one knows who is the leader is the House of the Flying Daggers.

To accomplish this, Leo arrests mei (Zhang Xia), a blind dancer, who is suspected of being the daughter of the previous leader. Jin, who attacked in prison and pretended to free Mei, showing that he was a rebellious sympathy, a task that gained the faith of Mei. Mei and Jin visit the Flying Dagger headquarters, trailing with Leo reinforcements. Unfortunately, Mei and Jin fall in love.
